Factors Affecting the Adoption Intention of New Electronic Authentication Services: A Convergent Model Approach of VAM, PMT, and TPB

This study empirically analyzes factors affecting the adoption and recommendation intentions for next-generation electronic authentication services based on a convergent model of value-based (VAM), protection motivation theory (PMT), planned behavior (TPB). As result analyses, perceived benefits sacrifices (based VAM), threats PMT), motives TPB) are found to significantly impact intentions. The verification results demonstrate that all (and sub-factors) — (perceived usefulness enjoyment), (technicality fee), susceptibility severity), (adoption attitude, subjective norm, control) have significant effect Further, variables sub-factors, except technicality in sacrifice, provides theoretical practical guidelines helpful future development, dissemination, promotion strategies new technologies demanded expected by most financial consumers. At same time, it verifies validity rationality three theories, thereby presenting an in-depth expanded methodology application.
